Hi, I’m Claire, the owner, designer, and maker behind Mollie Brown—lovingly named after my Grandma. I personally draw, design, create, and manage every aspect of my business right here in Liverpool. Originally, I grew up in Edinburgh before moving to Liverpool to study Fashion and Textile Design at Liverpool John Moores University. It was during my third year at university that I met my now husband, and I have happily called Liverpool home ever since!

I love colour, pattern, and texture, carefully sourcing fabrics in a vibrant and colourful mix of patterns, ranging from intricate Indian block prints to the bright and bold designs of African wax prints. Over time, my designs have naturally evolved; in the early days, I took inspiration from vintage pieces, often creating many re-worked vintage items. Now, I have crafted a thoughtfully curated collection of designs that embody a timeless, elegant style. Mollie Brown is created with the eco-conscious consumer in mind, offering pieces that are not only stylish and unique but also sustainably made.

I also offer a carefully curated range of jewellery crafted from materials such as wood, brass, and acetate, featuring elegant Art Deco, geometric, and botanical designs. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to complement a variety of styles and add a unique touch to your wardrobe.
